“If [Meghan] disappeared for six months and came back with a scar like that, the [British Media] would not ignore it like this,” one commenter wrote. “It’s crazy how much they hide.”

Another added, “The UK media picking at Meghan Sussex daily while ignoring this is devilishly biased.”

Kate Middleton on the Reality of Cancer Recovery

Kate Middleton was diagnosed with an unspecified form of cancer in March 2024 and announced she was in remission in January. Earlier this year, during a visit to a hospital in Colchester, she spoke candidly about her experience and the challenges that followed treatment.

She explained that the period after treatment was far more difficult than she had anticipated.

“You put on a sort of brave face, stoicism through treatment. Treatment’s done, then it’s like, ‘I can crack on, get back to normal,’ but actually, the phase afterwards is really, really difficult,” Kate Middleton said.

She continued, “You’re not necessarily under the clinical team any longer, but you’re not able to function normally at home as you perhaps once used to. And actually, someone to help talk you through that, show you and guide you through that sort of phase that comes after treatment, I think is really valuable.”

Describing the experience as transformative, the Princess of Wales added, “You have to find your new normal and that takes time…and it’s a rollercoaster, it’s not smooth, like you expect it to be. But the reality is you go through hard times.”
