Now, new claims suggest one senior royal is actively working to ensure a particular reconciliation never happens.
According to the Examiner, Princess Anne has firmly aligned herself with Prince William and Queen Camilla and is quietly opposing any attempt to bring Harry and Meghan back into the royal fold. Sources say Anne—who is known for staying out of family disputes—has made her stance unusually clear.
“Anne doesn’t interfere in family politics very often,” an insider said. “So when she does speak up, her opinion carries serious weight.”
While Anne hasn’t always agreed with her nephew Prince William, sources claim the two are united on this issue. Reportedly, Anne believes it would be “madness” for King Charles to consider reconciliation or forgiveness—particularly where Meghan is concerned.
“She thinks it’s outrageous that Charles would even entertain the idea,” the insider added, claiming Anne is strongly opposed to allowing Meghan “anywhere near” the royal inner circle.
This mirrors earlier reports suggesting Prince William has urged his father to cut ties with the Sussexes altogether. According to sources, William believes Harry and Meghan are “shamelessly taking advantage” of the king, especially given his declining health. Princess Anne is said to share that concern.
