Despite the reported refusals, Andrew is believed to retain a small team, including a valet, a butler, and a chef. However, once he moves permanently into Marsh Farm, he will be responsible for hiring and funding his own staff.
There are also concerns among palace insiders that Andrew may attempt to remain at Wood Farm longer than planned while renovations are completed. He is currently expected to move into Marsh Farm at the start of April.
Buckingham Palace declined to comment when approached.
