This is just the beginning.
Good days are ahead.
I still had to go to the competition.
But I couldn't wear the stained dress.
I turned around and entered the art classroom where my deskmate, Elena Mendoza, was studying. She looked at me covered in ink and raised an eyebrow, saying, "Did someone do this to you?"
I nodded helplessly. "Indeed. Elena, can you do something about my dress?"
Elena nodded and pulled me close to her, picking up a brush and starting to paint on me.
I could only ask her for help.
Unexpectedly, it worked.
She was done, and I entered the competition venue.
Satisfied with the astonishment in everyone's eyes, I knew that Elena's painting skills were impeccable.
This competition was the stepping stone to a prestigious university.
Dean naturally had to come as well.
When he saw me, it seemed like he had forgotten about our unpleasantness. He sat next to me.
But his attention was clearly not on me. It seemed he was looking for someone else.
"Who are you looking for?"
I smiled at him.
Dean's gaze flickered for a moment. He hesitated for a while and then said, "Where is Abby? Isn't she also participating in the competition? Why haven't I seen her?"
Upon hearing this, I couldn't help but sigh at my foolishness in my previous life.
Why couldn't I see it in my previous life when it was so obvious? He cared about her so much.
I suddenly wanted to see more of his expressions.
An idea hit me. I wanted to tease him, so I lowered my voice so that only he could hear me.
"I expelled her. She will never have the chance to encounter such a competition again in her lifetime."
Dean's eyes turned sinister for a second, but it was not enough.
"She is just the daughter of a maid. She's nothing."
I continued to lower my voice and provoke him. He was just a young and inexperienced man. His ability to endure was so weak and vulnerable.
I simply needed a little bit of stimulation.
And I could make him lose his mind.
Sure enough, the next second, a pair of hands grabbed my neck frantically.
"You're nothing compared to Abby."
Is that so?
I smirked at him provocatively, hiding the deep hatred in my eyes.
Those who were doomed would lose their minds before that.
Dean, your good days are coming.
After the teachers and classmates around us saw us, they grabbed Dean and controlled him.
I cried bitterly, covering my neck, looking lost.
"I'm going to tell my dad. Dean, we're done."
