My Husband Killed My DadChapter 1
My husband bought a villa for Addison, but Addison wanted to redecorate it because she thought the decoration was not good.
He handed the decoration project to my father and asked him to complete it within three months.
My father thought it was a new house we moved to and he worked day and night.
On my father’s birthday, the temperature was 39 degrees and I knew he was working on the construction site.
I wanted to bring a cake to celebrate his birthday, but I ran into my father lying on the concrete floor without a heartbeat.
I called my husband more than a dozen times until he finally got through, “What’s the matter? I’m very busy now and I don’t have time to talk to you.”
At the same time, a gentle and complaining voice came to my ear, “When will the villa be decorated? Hurry them up, I can’t wait!”
I cried and replied in a low voice. “Come back and let’s get a divorce.”
——
I wiped my tears, dragged my tired body and silently handled my father’s funeral alone.
When the staff handed me the urn, I didn’t even realize that it contained my father.
Not long ago, he was still telling me to give him a grandson as soon as possible, because it was too boring to be alone.
But now he would never urge me to give birth again.
Darren did not return home until the next night.
“I brought you a midnight snack, your favorite crayfish and Coke, eat it quickly!”
He put the bag of things on the tea table in front of the sofa as if nothing had happened, slumped on the sofa, untied his tie and leaned toward me.
I glanced at the bag and it was obvious that he had packed it with his childhood sweetheart after eating crayfish.
He was always like this. Whenever he made me unhappy, he tried to coax me with my favorite midnight snacks or things. And I, always feel soft-hearted, thought that he had bowed his head and admitted his mistakes, giving me a way out, so I would calm down and not care.
I turned sideways, with my back to him, my eyes were already swollen from crying.
Seeing that I didn’t move for a long time, he frowned slightly and softened his tone. “There were indeed some things to deal with yesterday. Can’t you be considerate of your husband? I am out doing business every day.”
