Aleena didn't even glance at me. She rushed to the phone, finding the screen shattered.

She was worried that the phone wasn't broken enough, so she stomped on it with another hard kick.

The screen went completely black.

Only then did she let out a sigh of relief and smirk triumphantly.

She turned to me with an innocent expression.

"Janessa, I didn't do it on purpose. You didn't hold on to it properly, so it's not my fault."

Her subtly smug expression made me so mad.

It was connected to the security room, where security personnel appeared within a minute to handle situations.

In front of them, I pressed the button.

"Hello, security?

"Strangers have entered apartment 706, building 34, and have assaulted the owner. Please come immediately!"
