My Spirit Will Never Rest Until You Die in Misery, Alpha!Chapter 1
When I, Charlotte Pritchett, was finally succumbing to my severe injuries after the rogues kidnapped me, my husband, Alpha Oliver Tilbury, was celebrating the pregnancy of his mistress, Meredith Smith whom he saved from the rogues instead of me.
I contacted him through the mind-link and asked for help, but all I got was his angry words, “It must be one of your tricks! It’ll be better if you die! That way, I can freely marry my Meredith!”
At the end of his words, he decisively cut off our telepathy.
I left with pain and sadness.
Later, Oliver came begging me to come back from the dead, it was too late. I was no longer in this world.
——
There was a sudden rogue attack that came to our pack, the Scarlet Star Pack.
Despite our best efforts to stop them, the rogues were very vicious. There were lots of our warriors who died protecting us. Nonetheless, they even managed to get to the castle to slay some people at the castle.
I looked at my husband, Alpha Oliver Tilbury of the Scarlet Star Pack. While I knew that the Alpha preferred his mistress, Meredith Smith, over me, I still expected that he would choose me over her. After all, I was still his Luna.
The rogue leader then looked at my husband as the former asked the latter, “So, which ones I can take? The Luna or this girl?”
But life was cruel. It seemed that it would never ever favor me in this life. After all, what I heard next was heartbreaking.
Alpha Oliver shouted to the rogue’s leader as he hugged his mistress tightly even though I knew very well that she wasn’t injured, “Take my Luna! But don’t you ever take my Meredith!”
The moment my husband said it, the leader of the rogues kidnapped me and brought me to the forest.
Unfortunately, they had no idea that I would fight back really hard. I was the daughter of the late Alpha Jeremy Pritchett of the Golden Claw Pack, which was well-known for its strength. So, I was also trained as hard as the pack warriors.
As soon as I shifted into my wolf, Sophia, I was able to kill almost all the rogues. Except for the leader who was able to stab me with a silver dagger imbued with silverbane before he ran away. Nevertheless, I was able to get back to my pack who immediately revered me as their hero.
