I stopped uncontrollably in front of Christian and saw the small scar on his neck, which was exactly the same as I remembered.

That little scar was caused by me biting it accidentally. He did not blame me or get angry at that time.

Instead, he smiled and said, "This is the mark my baby left on me. If I get lost someday, you can use this mark to find me."

People were coming and going around me and I could not help but burst into tears.

"Christian ...." I called him with a trembling voice, but he frowned and looked up at me.

The moment his eyes met mine, confusion, dazedness and indifference quickly flashed across his face.

Then he said, "I'm sorry, you must have mistaken me for someone else."

His gaze was unfamiliar and sharp.

It hurt my heart like it had been stabbed by a knife.

Christian had been in my life for a whole nine years. I had seen him in many different forms: shy, angry, doting and sad.

However, I had never seen such unfamiliar gaze before.

Suddenly, a girl's crisp voice came from inside.

"Killian, hurry up and give the skewers for table 10 to the customer!"

"Coming!"

Christian put it away skillfully and quickly, turned around and walked inside, ignoring me as a stranger again.

"Yasmin."

Margareth saw me standing there stiffly, so she came over and pulled me in to sit first.

When she saw me crying so hard, she did not say anything and just handed me the tissue silently.

"Are you sure it's him?"

A hint of heartache flashed in Margareth's eyes.

I shook my head, speechless.

I also wish it was not him. For a moment, I would rather have him really die and only stay in my memories.

I did not want him to fall in love with another girl either.

However, all the clues were telling me that he was Christian Sanders. He was Christian who I lost for three years.

The restaurant was doing good business, with the seats full of customers. The barbecue we ordered was delivered more than ten minutes late.

The girl brought Christian over to apologize to us in person and gave us two extra bottles of drinks.

"I'm so sorry. I didn't expect there would be so many customers today. I'm sorry for serving your meal late. These two bottles of drinks are our apology!"

The girl smiled sweetly.

A few seconds later, I was shock to see Christian walking towards me, limping.

His legs ....

What was wrong with it?
