"Is this Theo? He's really talented. Irvin, you're so lucky." Oliver couldn't sense the atmosphere in the car and said with a smile.

"Well, if you have something to do, go ahead and play. I'll just take a taxi home by myself," Theo said without looking back as he was about to unfasten his seatbelt.

I immediately said, "No, I had a few drinks and Oliver sent me home because he was worried."

"That's right, Theo. You're so busy that you don't have time to accompany Irvin. As his younger brother, it's natural for me to take responsibility," Oliver said affectionately, putting his arm around my shoulder.

"Thank you then," Theo said, staring at his phone without even looking at us.

Then he put on his headphones and started discussing work with his colleagues.

This made both Oliver and me feel a little embarrassed.

I subconsciously felt dissatisfied. What did Theo mean by intentionally embarrassing me?

I had a straight face and no longer spoke.

When I got home, Theo went straight to the bedroom.

Looking at the closed bedroom door, my face changed for a while, and in the end, I stomped my foot and angrily went back to the small bedroom.

I didn't sleep all night, and memories of Theo and me kept appearing in my mind.

Thinking about his recent attitude towards me, and tonight, Oliver's inappropriate behavior, he didn't react at all. I cried in grievance.

I was wrong. I didn't consider Theo's feelings. I really let him down.

I got up before dawn the next day and prepared a sumptuous breakfast, carefully covering it with a plate, waiting for Theo to wake up.

Eight fifteen.

Theo woke up.

I quickly got up from the sofa and said, "You're awake, let's have breakfast."

Seeing my exhausted look, Theo said, "You didn't sleep yesterday?"

"I can't sleep, it's okay, I'll take a nap later. You go ahead and eat. If you can't get used to the food, tell me what you want to eat and I'll make it for you," I said to Theo eagerly.

Theo suddenly smiled and said, "I ordered breakfast at the company, so it would be a waste not to eat it."

I stood still in a daze, and scenes from before flashed through my mind.

At that time, I would make breakfast for him every morning.

But later, as Theo got promoted and earned more money, I quit my job.

Because I had less money in the pocket, my hobbies were becoming more and more extensive, and I often socialized late at night.
