Yara, who was stopped, scanned us before answering coyly.
"Yes, I came with my classmates from the student council. But there seems to be a line, so we're going to eat somewhere else."
She was followed by a few more classmates.
Harry smiled so much, "It's okay, I have a membership. I can arrange a table for you."
Yara said, "No need."
"It's just a small favor. I'll handle it."
He walked arrogantly at the forefront. The waiter at the entrance of the store greeted him with a smile and asked.
"Hello, do you have a reservation?"
Harry took out his membership card and said proudly, "No."
"I'm sorry, without a reservation, please wait in line."
Harry changed his expression, "Look carefully. I am a VIP!"
"I'm sorry, we are fully booked today. Even VIP has to wait in line."
Harry was completely dumbfounded.
I felt embarrassed for him from a distance. I didn't expect him to make a fool of himself in front of Yara.
Seeing this scene, a few classmates murmured.
"We don't have time to wait. We have to hurry back to class after eating."
"What a pity, we were hoping Harry would treat us to a big meal. It seems hopeless now."
"I'm starving now."
I was starving too, so I turned around, wanting to go back and find a place to eat.
The next second, a man in a white shirt walked towards us, and the waiter nodded and bowed to him.
"Hello, General Manager."
I heard the sound and looked over, meeting his eyes.
It was George Brown!
